Crowlees School is a voluntary controlled primary co-educational day school for children in the age range 5 to 11 years.
The school, as an educational establishment, acknowledges its Church of England, and therefore Christian, foundation. Close links are established with St Mary’s Church and we encourage children to grow intellectually, socially, morally, aesthetically, physically and spiritually within a Christian environment, through worship and the everyday life of the school.
“Crowlees is a really welcoming and friendly school, where everyone works hard.”
We aim to enable each child, regardless of race, creed, gender or ability, to achieve their full potential. Each individual is respected and their diversity of background is welcomed and highly valued. Christian values, ideas and beliefs are promoted through the spiritual development of the school community, alongside tolerance, understanding and respect for other religions and ways of life.
We believe that daily acts of collective worship are important in nurturing concepts such as sensitivity to the needs of others and mutual respect, whilst helping the children to make their own positive response to God.
“Our school is a place where happy memories are made. Each child is safe, cared for and learns to care for others; is valued for being themselves; is supported in learning to make the right decisions and challenged to be the best they can be.”

“Both my girls have and are still thriving at Crowlees. They enjoy both the main teaching during school time as well as the extra-curricular activities (choir, etc.). Plenty of additional support has been made available to ensure my children feel reassured and have plenty of opportunity to develop if they are struggling in a particular subject.
I would and will always recommend Crowlees as the perfect start to any child’s schooling.”
